Title: Integrated Design Validation Process
Date & Time: May 18th, 09:45AM – 10:45 AM
Location: Room 9

Customer needs in today’s market continue to grow leading to increased product design complexity and on other hand market competition and regulatory compliance demands shorter development cycles and safest products with high quality. In this situation Design validation becomes even more critical to achieve First Time Right and avoid changes late in the development cycle leading to extra cost and time delay.

Along with design validation it is equally important to ensure that post validation actions (the discrepancies surfaced during validation process) are captured and addressed in timely manner.

The proposed session, through a POC, demonstrates how an iterative closed-loop design validation process, using DFMPro, can be integrated with issues capture and resolution process using Teamcenter Issues and CAPA management solution. It also demonstrates how the design validation activity can be driven as an integral part of Release process leveraging Teamcenter workflow.
