Louis J Pascarella
Louis J Pascarella is one of the pioneers of PLM as an enterprise technology. He has been actively involved in CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM software development, as well as architecting PLM technologies and methodologies for over 35 years. From his earliest foray into the field at Ford Motor Co. to his current position as a Principal Consultant at Geometric, he has been at the forefront of the changing PLM requirements of global OEMs, primarily in the automotive sector, and driving the evolution of these technologies. Today, he works towards helping customers progress from CAD-centric PDM-based product creation methodologies to broader systems engineering and knowledge based process oriented solutions. Lou consults our customers to help them bridge the gap between business requirements and PLM technology adoption.
Prior to joining Geometric in early 2012, Lou was responsible for Strategic Automotive Initiatives at Dassault Systèmes. He joined Dassault Systèmes in February 2001 to head global R&D for its ENOVIA brand. Lou has also been the CTO for FanBall.com and auxillium inc. (which was acquired by Parametric Technologies). In his early career, he also developed and managed CAD/CAE/PDM solutions, PLM technologies, and deployments for Ford Motor Co, TRW, and Control Data Systems.
